Friends of Holmdel Open Space (FOHOS) was founded as part of the fundraising effort to rescue the 400-acre Chase tract from high density development in the late 1990s.
FOHOS is a non-profit, non-government, non-political organization formed to raise funds to preserve, protect, and maintain open space in Holmdel. It received its ruling from the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization in 2000.

FOHOS is managed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. We are actively seeking volunteers to help maintain/improve the trails and new Board members.
